We have many responsibilities to our constituents, public safety and health MUST be the #1 priority of our local government. I will fight to ensure our public safety departments are properly funded and staffed so we provide for the safety of our streets and neighborhoods. 

 

 

 

Public safety & health impacts EVERY day of our lives, not just when we need fire, medical or police. This extends to our solid waste removal, our streets and having clean water when we turn on the faucet. 

 

Too Much Traffic

I will focus on the continuity of services throughout our growing city without disproportionately relying on residential development. Peoria needs to be more than a bedroom community! We need to exercise a diversification strategy with a balance in commerce and jobs to population.

 

 

The Economy

Many residents we have spoken with don’t know who their current city councilmember is representing them. I will increase visibility in the community as well as solicit citizen engagement and feedback.

I will increase engagement by holding quarterly community meetings, monthly meet & greets with local businesses and have weekly office hours available to the residents in Peoria.
